Please read carefully before sending any images.

Sending an image and requesting a service from YourPhotoRestored constitutes full acceptance of these terms and conditions

  1. Copyright By requesting services with YourPhotoRestored you are assumed to own the full copyright, or have obtained permission of the copyright owner or it has otherwise expired.
The sender of the image or document, digital or otherwise will be held liable for any violation of copyright taken by a third party. The sender of the image will be held liable for any costs associated with court action resulting from violation of copyright.

  2. Offensive Images It is against the law to send pornographic, obscene, or abusive images by e-mail. YourPhotoRestored will report the sender of any such image to the appropriate authority. The sender of any image appearing to show criminal activity will also be reported to the authorities.

  3. Privacy Our privacy policy relating to the viewing of customers images is dependent on the customer keeping secure the password or unique link to the private gallery provided. YourPhotoRestored cannot be held responsible for any additional access if the customer chooses to share their password or link with a third party. Details of customers are kept in strict confidence and are not sold on to third parties.
YourPhotoRestored may use any work carried out on photographs as examples in our gallery. Customers may of course notify us if they do not wish their photographs to be displayed. YourPhotoRestored's privacy policy relating to the viewing of customer images is dependent on the customer keeping secure the password and weblink to the private gallery provided in our e-mails. YourPhotoRestored can not be held liable for any additional access to private galleries if the customer chooses to share the information required to access their private gallery with family or friends, or otherwise make available to any 3rd party.

  4. Refund Policy YourPhotoRestored's refund policy is limited to the digital content of the actual image purchased and the service provided by YourPhotoRestored, and will not be extended to cover any quality issues resulting from any subsequent printing of the image with either the customer's or any 3rd party's printing hardware or software.

  5. Liability YourPhotoRestored will not be held liable for any accidental or intentional damage to property or person, physical injury, deterioration in health, or financial loss, triggered by the viewing of any image on it's website.

  6. Postage YourPhotoRestored will not be held responsible for any loss or damage incurred by the Post Office or any third party delivery. YourPhotoRestored will return originals by Royal Mail recorded delivery, equivalent or better, and we advise our customers to use Royal Mail recorded delivery, equivalent or better when sending original photographs to ourselves in the first instance.

  7. Loss or Damage YourPhotoRestored will not be held responsible for original photographs lost or damaged by the postal service of any country, either on route to our service providers premises or back to the customer's home address.

  8. Refusal Often Offends YourPhotoRestored reserves the right to refuse any request for services.

  9. Order Order The reworked digital image must be ordered before extra prints can be purchased.

  10. Quality The quality of the finished image will depend on the supplied scan or original photograph. Out of focus or over exposed images with blown out highlights can only be restored to a certain standard. We will endeavour to match image quality and colour as closely as possible to the original photograph. Exact colour matching cannot be guaranteed due to the limitations of photographic and computer materials therefore tonal variations can occur. The extent by which any photograph can be enhanced is gated by the quality of the original. Our service is offered on a best-can-do basis.

  11. Prices: These can fluctuate and may change at any time.

  12. Our Service: This is a distance selling, UK based website and as such the normal 7 day cooling off period does not apply due to our service being based on supply within that period – this is an agreed exception based on distance selling regulations by which we are governed.

  16. Cancellation: By email, to the above address, before we receive the image or start our service on your photo. We will return your image at our cost. Please bear in mind that as we offer a unique service to digitally restore unique photos, your cancellation rights end immediately we start our service on your photo.
